About 3 Days Bhutan Dragon Tour

Bhutan Dragon tour is short 3 days tour to Bhutan. This tour is suitable for business travellers for a shortstop and gives the traveller a chance to get acquainted with Bhutan’s rich culture and landscape. You will visit Tiger Nest Temple, Paro Dzong, National Museum and Kyichu Lhakhang during this tour.

This tour includes sightseeing Paro Town. During sightseeing, you will visit Paro Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang and National museum. Paro Dzong is the massive structure of the 17th-century fortress with great architecture, Kyichu Lhakhang is an ancient Buddhist temple while and National Museum is the pride of Bhutan with flaunting art and traditions and narrating a unique ancient tale and rich history of Bhutan.

Hike to beautiful Taktsang Monastery is the best part of this tour. Taktsang Monastery was constructed in 1692 and holds the ancient history of the legend Guru Rinpoche. Popularly known as Tiger Nest Temple, this place is a small collection of buildings precariously perched on a cliff, 900m off of the ground. The location and beauty of this place are mesmerizing making it the must-go destination of Bhutan.

Itinerary

Fly on the wings of Dragon to the international airport in Paro, Bhutan. On a clear day, you can see the panoramic views of the sensational Himalayas including Mt. Everest ( if you are flying from Delhi and Kathmandu). Upon arrival in Paro, you will be received by the representative of Lapha Holidays and transferred to your hotel by a private vehicle. Depending on your arrival time, we will proceed for Paro Sightseeing which includes a visit to Paro Dzong and National Museum. This fortress and Museum is very unique and different from any other museums and architecture will definitely take your breath away. Later in the evening, we will explore the market of Paro town.

After breakfast, we drive to the base of trekking point, from where we will hike to famous Taktsang built around a cave in which Guru Rimpoche (Guru Padmasambhava) meditated. This 8th-century monastery is perched on a rock overlooking in a sheer drop and clings seemingly impossible to a cliff at 900m above the valley floor. It takes almost 2 hours for an average trekker however it might take a full day for some depending upon their pace. The magical structure of the Tiger Nest close to your sight energized to push further. It is one of the most awesome spots in the world.

Today is the last day of your Bhutan Dragon Tour. After breakfast check out from the hotel and our representative will drop you at Paro Airport for your onward journey.
