About Trisuli River Rafting

Trisuli River Rafting is Nepal’s best rafting river stream close to Kathmandu. Running from just outside Kathmandu towards Chitwan and Pokhara, Trisuli River is one of Nepal’s most popular destinations for rafting, providing an exhilarating and refreshing rafting experience to adventure lovers.

Trisuli River is considered to be the best river in Nepal to explore the typical cross-section of the country’s natural as well as the ethnic-cultural heritage with massive adrenaline buzz on our world-class white water thrills. The adjoining slopes of this river often harbour dense vegetation and interesting wildlife. During rafting in Trisuli we will hit many famous 2 and 3 class rapids such as SNELL'S NOSE (2 Grade), TWINS ROCK (2 Grade), WOMEN DELIGHT (2 Grade), MONSOON (2 Grade) UPSET (3 Grade) AND SURPRISE RAPID (2+Grade) and LANDSLIDE (2+ Grade).

Tentative a Day Rafting Plan

6:30 am: Reporting time

7:00 am: Tourist Bus Departure (Sorha Khutte-Naya Bazar)

10:00 am: Reach Rafting put-in-point at Charaudi Rato Ghar

11:00 am: Rafting Gear Set-Up

11:30 am: Rafting Start

2:30 pm: Finished Rafting at Chum Khola or Fishling (Depend on Water Volume)

3:00 pm: Lunch and Process back to Kathmandu by Local Bus or to your next destination like Chitwan or Pokhara

Itinerary

After early morning breakfast, we take a tourist bus/private vehicle from Kathmandu to Chraudi. It takes around 3 hours to reach Charaudi. Upon reaching Charaudi, you will meet our guide who will give you short instruction about the trip and brief you about the safety measures. Please listen to the instruction carefully and under to act upon the guide’s commands which is essential for having a good time. Soon after completing briefing, the adventure begins with the assistance of our guide. After 3 hours of rafting, we stop at Fishling for lunch. After lunch, our crew member will start to make camping arrangement for overnight stay. Any help is highly appreciated. Around 7:00 pm at the camp, we will have dinner and overnight in tent.

Note: If it’s your one day trip, you will be assisted to drive back to Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan on a bus or private vehicle as per the itinerary.

For overnight Halt Guest, after breakfast our guide will arrange the local bus/private vehicle for onward destination as per guest schedule.

And for the 2 day rafting after breakfast, we will continue our rafting up to take out point Mugling or Pachkilo. After lunch our trip ends. You can either return to Kathmandu or proceed to Pokara or Chitwan.

Cost Detail

  • All Ground Transportation (One-way tourist bus & one-way Local bus or Private vehicle) or as per itinerary.
  • All International standard rafting equipment as necessary (Such as self-bailing Rafts, Helmets, Life Jackets, Kayaks, Paddles, waterproofs bags, waterproof Barrels and first aid kit.
  • Well-trained and highly experienced English speaking guides and safety kayakers, cooks and other helper crew member.
  • If 2D 1N trip: Accommodation in twin-sharing for 2 person capacity tent during the rafting including camping equipment and cooking utensils mainly tents, mattress, sleeping bags and kitchen gears.
  • Meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner as per the itinerary. The foods are freshly prepared.
  • Salary, insurance and all experiences of guide and all crew members
  • All necessary fees, Government/Local taxes and river permits
  • Any extra Lunch and dinner incurred before or after the trip due to unseen conditions.
  • Emergency rescue evacuation (to be covered by the client’s travel insurance).
  • Tips and Gratuities to the guide(s), and crew members (Tipping is expected).
  • Any person expenditure on alcoholic drinks and beverages.
  • Personal insurance and other personal expenses (phone call, battery recharge, and laundry)
  • Additional private transportation except what is mentioned in the itinerary.
