5D 4N Bhutan Tour is one of a popular historical and cultural tour to Bhutan. The tour takes you to western Bhutan popular cities, namely, Thimpu, Punakha and Paro. You will be travelling to some of the most popular monasteries, Dzongs, Chortens, temples and viewpoints of Thimpu, Paro and Punakha.

Bhutan Tour starts with an hour drive from Paro to Thimpu, Bhutan’s capital. On the way to Thimpu, you will visit Tachogang Lhakhang where you can capture a beautiful photo of a suspension bridge built over Paro River for temple another side. In Thimpu, we will visit Tashichho Dzong, an administrative and monastic sector with houses throne room of His Majesty the King and Kuensel Phodrang, the world’s largest sitting Buddha statue, Changangkha Monastery, the oldest temple in the valley and Sangaygang, an awesome viewpoint.

As we continue our journey to warm valley of Punakha, we pass over the most beautiful pass, Douchula pass at 3150m which offers an impressive 360-degree panoramic view of the Himalayas and the top of the pass is decorated by 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens built by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the eldest Queen Mother in 2003. We will visit Punakha Dong, also known as the Palace of Great Happiness, showcase the finest example of the arts and crafts of Bhutan.

After exploring the Punakha valley, we retrace our journey to Paro. En-route, we will take an awesome walk through rice fields and the tiny settlement of Pana to Chimi Lhakhang, a temple of fertility. During our stay in Paro, we will visit the National Museum, 17th century Paro Dzong, and Taktsang Monastery which are the most popular most go destination of Bhutan. In the evening, we can walk around old Paro town and exploring local handicraft stores and interacting with local can also be of great fun.
