About Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit trek also popularly known as Manaslu Larke Pass trek is one of the least popular trekking route of Nepal officially opened as adventure trekking for trekkers in 1992. The trail is off the beaten remote tracks walked by only few adventure trekkers and still holds untouched natural paradise of Nepal trekking.

Manaslu Circuit trek is considered as one of the most beautiful treks in Manaslu region which takes us to the northern border of Nepal with Tibet and to the base of the world 8th highest mountain- Mt. Manaslu. This trek offers the perfect combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed Himalayan scenic beauty and fascinating Tibetan culture with its rich mountain biological diversity. You are certain to get bewildered by the multifariousness of the topography ranging from the sub-tropical foothills of the Himalayas to the arid trans-Himalayan pastures bordering Tibet.

The Larke La pass at 5213m is the highest point of this trek which can be the biggest challenge of this trek yet rewarding as it provides simply jaw-dropping view of Himlung Himal (7125m), Cheo Himal (6820m), Kang Guru (6980m), Annapurna II (7937m), Himal Chuli (7893m), Ganesh Himal (7319m), Shringi Himal (7187m) and Manaslu Himal (8163m).

With newly developed small tea houses on the trek, Manaslu trek has now become a lot easier for trekkers to get accommodation and meals without needing to carry meals and tents like in the past. Recently Manaslu circuit trek has been a perfect choice for those who do not want to walk on the dusty roads of Annapurna circuit trek. Manaslu trek offers similar views and similar experiences as Annapurna circuit.
