Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be received by one of our representatives and transferred to a designated hotel where you will be offered refreshment & be given a briefing about the lodge & its facilities and tour itinerary. After the briefing, you will be allocated to the room.

After some rest, we will go for a village tour to a nearby ethnic village where you can learn about the culture and lifestyle of the indigenous Tharus. After that, we will visit the National Park Visitor’s centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife & later enjoy Sunset view from the bank of Rapti River.

Later you will have dinner in the hotel with Tharu cultural dance presentation by the local villagers or Slide show presentation on almost everything under the Chitwan.

After early morning breakfast, we go for a canoe ride along the Rapti River. Canoeing is an excellent opportunity for Bird watching and for spotting the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. We also go for a short Jungle walk. On the way back we can enjoy the elephant bathing and take pictures.

After lunch, we go for Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari. These jungle rides are an excellent opportunity to witness wildlife and birds of Chitwan National Park including peacock, koyal, deer, rhinoceros, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are lucky).

After Breakfast, we visit the Elephant Breeding Center where you will get a chance to learn about the elephant and enjoy watching a mother elephant frolic with her energetic baby.  

After this visit, depending upon your flight schedule our guide will drop you to the airport for final departure.
