Ilam Tour Itinerary


  • Day 1 Drive from Kathmandu to Ilam (13hrs)

    Today is the first day of our tour. We drive from Kathmandu to Illam which is a 13 hours’ scenic drive through the beautiful natural scenario. Upon reaching Illam, you will be transferred to the hotel in Ilam.

  • Day 2 Drive to Antu Danda (1 ½ hrs) and drive from Antu Danda to Mai Pokhari (3-4hrs)

    One and half hours drive from Ilam Bazaar takes you to Antu Danda. Antu Danda, typically known as Shree Antu Danda, a lush green tea garden and also the vantage point for exclusive sunrise and sunset view. The view of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga is also the major attraction of this place. Besides tea garden, the residing dense forest in Antu Danda is home to hares, boars, pheasant, jackals, deer and many more.

    After spending quality time at Antu Danda, we move to Mai Pokhari at 2438m which is about 4 ½ hours drive from Antu Danda. Mai Pokhari is the pilgrimage site of the Ilam district and houses a magnificent lake and nine ponds. The lake is sprinkled with water lilies and swarmed with goldfish and you can even enjoy boating here. Chureghanti, Dharapani, and Hasbire Bhanjyangon are some of the nearby villages best of sightseeing.

  • Day 3 Drive to Fikkal and Kanayam and Back to Ilam

    After breakfast, we start our journey to Fikkal and Kanayam. Fikkal and Kanayam have large tea land with a beautiful tea garden and picnic spot. These places are popular among tourists and the most visited tea garden of Ilam for picnicking, sightseeing and taking photographs. After enjoying the greenery around the tea garden, we move to Ilam

  • Day 4 Back to Kathmandu

    Today is the last day of our Journey. After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu.
