UNESCO Heritage with Nagarkot Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be received by our airport representative from Lapha Holidays who will transfer you to the hotel in our private vehicle. You will have a short meeting regarding the tour itinerary with a welcome drink in the hotel. After meeting you can check in to your room and relax and freshen up. If not tired, you have a free evening to stroll around the hotel and nearby market.

After breakfast, you will meet our city guide who will take you for Kathmandu valley sightseeing in our private vehicle. Today you will visit major historical, cultural and religious sites Kathmandu valley including Swyambunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple. After this informative and enticing tour to cultural, historical and religious importance sites of Kathmandu we drive back to the hotel.

After succulent breakfast at your hotel, we start our journey to Patan and Bhaktapur city, renowned ancient cities enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites for its palaces, temples and monuments with great art and architecture. The woodcraft, stone craft and metal craft in the buildings, fabulous culture, traditional festivals and lifestyle of Newari community are main highlights of these cities. After educational sightseeing of these cities, we drive to Nagarkot, the best place for sunrise and sunset view.

After the beautiful sunrise from the top of Nagarkot, we hike to Changunarayan temple, the oldest temple in the valley. The temple is richly decorated with sculptures and extraordinary carvings dated Licchavi period. After excursion in and around Changunarayan temple, we head back to Kathmandu.
